Claiming Bank Charges

In 2006, the Office of Fair Trading ruled that penalty fees applied to most credit card accounts of up to £35 were unfair, and believes they are actually unlawful. So why not join the 100,000s who’ve reclaimed their cash and got their money back. You may have read that Bank Charge reclaiming is on hold… don’t worry, credit card reclaiming isn’t!

Consumer law states that any charges credit card providers levy on their customers must be proportional to the actual costs they incur which has not been the case. The question is, ‘does it really cost £35 to send an automated letter when someone’s gone 1p over their limit?’ We think not. Banks are not supposed to fine you; yet over the years that’s exactly what they’ve done whenever people have missed credit card repayment dates or gone over their credit limit. And it’s for this reason that you should be able to get back the last six years’ worth of cash.
